1. Registration
You must register to use the website properly. When registering, you enter a username (under which you will appear), an e-mail (to verify registration) and a password (to log into the account). After registration, an account will be created that will contain one Private group. This group is for your use only, it cannot be shared or deleted. After logging in, you will be automatically redirected to this group. Each user account registration is free.
2. Creating a group (premium service)
To share vocabulary with other users (e.g. with students at your school), you need to create a new group. In the main menu, click Group to open the desired page. Click on New in the page header to display the form. Enter the name of the group (required). You can upload a logo (optional) that will be displayed instead of the livocabulary logo whenever a user switches to your group. If you don't upload the logo right away, you can do so later. If you have everything filled out, click Create .

3. Creating vocabulary
After creating a group, we recommend creating a vocabulary first. In the main menu, click New to open the page where you can create a vocabulary. Simply enter a name (required), optionally set the foreign and native language (optional), and click Create .The maximum number of lessons is 20 .Create , all settings, including lessons, can be modified later.
4. Filling the vocabulary
You fill in the vocabulary by marking it on the home page. In the main menu, click Add/Edit and the page will open. Select Lesson where you want to insert a new word, type Foreign and Native word, and select Add as :
Locked - students cannot practice the given word,
Unlocked - students cannot practice the given word,
Learned - students cannot practice the given word,
Next you can add the word to Games (ie the word will be usable in games) and finally you can Import audio from a file or Upload it with the correct pronunciation of the word. Just press Add and the word will be saved. You can repeat this process to add up to 150 words in one lesson. We recommend adding at least 4 words for the correct functionality of the practice.
5. Adding users
If you have a full vocabulary, you can add users to your group. Each user you want to add to the group must be registered. You can add one teacher and a maximum of 30 students:
Teacher - can add, edit and delete words. He can add and remove students from the group. There can be only one teacher in the group.
Student - after adding the user to the group, he becomes a student. The student can practice your vocabulary, play games and read articles. You can add a maximum of 30 students to one group (max. 10 in a small class).
Users join the group using a code.
In the main menu, click Group and open group management. Click Join to display a unique code for your group (e.g. xyxyxyxyxy). Share this code with your students.
Students then log in to their accounts, go to the Group section, and enter the code. After confirming it, they will be automatically added to the group.
6. Practicing
You start practicing the vocabulary by selecting the vocabulary on the homepage and clicking on Practice in the main menu. A page will open where you can select a specific Lesson (lessons) with unlocked vocabulary or select Unlocked . Words that need to be learned are unlocked. You can also choose whether to display a native word or a foreign word.
Foreign: a foreign word will appear and you must write or click on the native word,
Native: the native word is displayed and you have to write or click on the foreign word.
You can choose the mode:
Write word: you have to write the word you are learning
Click word: after the randomly generated word, 4 equivalents are displayed and you have to choose one of them,
Mix word: it will randomly switch between "Write a word" and "Click a word".
Finally, you can choose
Click to test: if you have selected "Click a word" mode, you do not need to press the button Test ,
Delete: OFF means you will practice vocabulary until you get tired of it. If you mark "Subscribe", a numerical indication of how many words are included in the given lesson will be displayed. After correctly guessing the word, the figure is reduced by one,
Play pronunciation: if you have the pronunciation saved, it will always be played when the word is generated. You can see how the word is written and hear how it is pronounced,
Hide tested word: if you have the pronunciation saved, the tested word will be hidden, which increases the difficulty of the word guessing level.
Finally, press Start . The first word is randomly generated and you can start practicing.
